Classic Supra buyers
Sell a Classic Toyota Supra
The Supra is a modern classic with an enormous spread between its best and its ordinary cars. We buy MkIII and MkIV cars, priced by inspection — the only honest way to price one.

MkIII and MkIV lead, and the spread is enormous
The Supra page is led by two generations: the MkIII of 1986 to 1992 and the MkIV of 1993 to 2002. Those are the cars sellers here actually own, and the MkIV in particular is the Supra with the broadest, deepest following. Earlier Supras — the Celica Supra cars of the late seventies and early eighties — are wanted too, and a complete, solid example is always worth an inspection.
The spread is the story of this page, and we state it plainly: the gap between a well-kept, desirable-specification Supra and a tired, heavily modified, or incomplete one is enormous. Engine, transmission — manual cars are prized — trim, and originality can move the number by multiples, not margins. No formula can price that spread, which is why this car, more than most, is priced by an in-person inspection.
Specification, modification, and condition
On a Supra, specification is read in detail: turbo or non-turbo, manual or automatic, the trim level, and whether the car is original or modified. Tasteful, well-documented modifications are priced as part of the car; heavy, undocumented, or poorly done work is priced as risk, because it is. A clean, original, documented car is the easiest Supra to value strongly — and the one most likely to earn a strong number.
Condition follows the same order as our classic car hub and our classic Toyota page: completeness first — engine, transmission, body panels, trim, and interior present — then body condition, then specification and running state. A Supra missing major parts, or rusted through, is the honest no; everything short of that gets a fair inspection.
Selling a Supra here
Tell us the generation, engine, transmission, and modification history as honestly as you can — surprises at inspection help no one, and an honest description gets a fairer first conversation. We inspect the car where it sits in San Diego County, explain what we found, and make an offer from that inspection. If you accept, you are paid at pickup and we tow it free.
Classic seller questions
Which Supras are worth the most?
MkIV cars lead, especially turbo and manual cars in original, documented condition. MkIII cars follow, and specification — engine, transmission, trim — moves the number more on a Supra than on most classics.
Does modification hurt a Supra's value?
It depends. Tasteful, documented work is priced as part of the car; heavy or undocumented modifications are priced as risk. An original car is the easiest to value strongly.
My Supra is a non-turbo automatic. Is it still wanted?
Yes — at a level that reflects its specification honestly. The spread between Supra specifications is enormous, and a non-turbo automatic is a real car with a real price, just not a turbo-manual price.
My Supra does not run. Will you buy it?
If it is complete, yes — including one with a failed engine, where the rest of the car justifies it. An incomplete car, missing major parts, or one rusted through is the exception.
